3D Printed Scoreboard Enclosures

All our scoreboards are installed in 3D printed PETG enclosure instead of a traditional folded metal enclosure. PETG is a strong, durable engineering plastic that offers an excellent balance of strength, impact resistance, and lightweight construction.

The enclosure has 2 mm thick walls and is specifically designed to securely house and protect the electronic components while keeping the overall weight low for easy transportation and installation.

Because the enclosure is larger than the build volume of most 3D printers, it is manufactured in multiple sections that are permanently bonded together. As a result, you may notice some normal manufacturing characteristics, including:

Visible joining lines between printed sections
Minor adhesive (glue) marks
Small surface imperfections or blemishes
Typical 3D printing layer lines

These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the strength, stability, durability, or performance of the scoreboard.

The LED display panels are securely held in place using powerful magnets. Under normal operation and transportation, the panels remain firmly attached and are not prone to falling out. This design also makes servicing and replacement quick and convenient if ever required.

This enclosure has been designed with functionality as the primary goal. While it does not have the premium cosmetic finish of a folded sheet-metal enclosure, it provides a practical, reliable, and lightweight solution that performs exceptionally well in real-world sporting environments.

When the scoreboard is in use, players and spectators are focused on the bright, highly visible LED display—not the enclosure. Our priority has been to deliver a dependable scoreboard that is easy to transport, simple to maintain, and built to perform where it matters most.
