Please note: This kit includes a DIY inductor with 4.5 turns. Before soldering it to the circuit board, ensure to scrape off the leads of the inductor.
Introducing another simple and budget-friendly DIY FM transmitter kit, perfect for electronics beginners. This kit captures audio from any source and broadcasts it to an FM radio. Tune your FM receiver within the frequency range of 88-108Mhz. Similar to our standard FM transmitter, this kit features a CR2032 cell holder for power.
It's important to mention that the inductor provided cannot be used to adjust the transmission frequency. The transmitter operates at a fixed frequency, which may vary upon powering off and on. However, it's a great way to experiment and learn about transmission mechanisms.
Transmission Range: Up to 10 meters indoors and 50-100 meters outdoors, depending on antenna types used in both transmitter and receiver.
Power Supply: Compatible with CR2032 3V cell batteries.
Find the schematic of the transmitter below:
The transmission range depends upon the open area, length of antenna and power.
Soldering is very straight forward. PCB has clear silkscreen that should guide to solder the components on the right spot.
NOTE: Be careful with the polarity of the electret microphone
The kit package includes the following components:
- 1 x 2.2K Ohm resistor
- 1 x 22k Ohm resistor
