This ESP32-powered 4-digit digital counter is a smart and versatile device designed to count objects automatically or manually. It can display values from 0 to 9999 using a bright, colorful LED matrix display. The system uses a photoresistor–laser beam mechanism to detect passing objects and increment the count with precision.

With built-in WiFi, you can access a browser-based control panel directly from your phone or computer—no app installation required. Simply connect to the ESP32’s WiFi access point and manage the counter wirelessly.

Automatic Object Counting:
A laser beam constantly shines on the photoresistor. When the beam is interrupted (object passes through), the counter increases by one. Users can restrict photoresistor from counting via web interface.
Manual Controls and RF remote control
Three onboard buttons let you control the counter easily:
UP: Increase count manually
DOWN: Decrease count manually
RESET: Reset the counter to zero
WiFi Access & Web Control:
Connect to WiFi network: SSID and password details will be given to customers.
Open browser and visit http://192.168.4.1
Access an intuitive web interface to:
Increment or decrement the count remotely
Set a specific count value, for example, 453
Automatically turn ON a relay once the set count value is reached. Connect your device to the relay in normally CLOSED mode and when the count value is reached the relay will be turned ON and your connected device will be turned OFF.

Stop further counting after reaching the target value
Enable or restrict photoresistor-based counting when required
Change display color
Customizable Display Colors:
Choose from five vivid colors — Yellow, Red, White, Green, and Blue — for the 4-digit display. Use web interface for changing colors. Colors are saved even power is turned off.

Data Memory (Power Loss Protection):
The ESP32 automatically remembers the last count and color settings, even after power disconnection.
Display Options:
Can be used with two display sizes,
P3 Display (3-inch digits)-192mm x 96mm Included
P5 Display (5-inch digits)- 320mmx160mm- you can choose to purchase separately
Both use 64×32 LED matrix panels for clear, high-contrast numbers.
Power Supply:
Works with 5V 4A power adapter (not included).
Plug-and-Play Design:
No assembly required. Comes fully pre-wired and tested. (Enclosure not included.)
Includes Laser Module:
High-quality laser emitter included for reliable photoresistor detection.

Includes a dedicated HC-12 communication header
Supports connection to a TM1637 mini objects counter via HC-12 wireless module
Mini counter can be placed anywhere within up to 200 meters range
Counted values from the mini counter are wirelessly transmitted to the main unit
Main unit displays the received count on a 64×32 dot matrix display
Ideal for distributed counting systems, long-distance counting, and automation setups
This counter is suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and hobby projects, including:
