This Portable Digital Baseball Scoreboard is designed for baseball clubs, community sports grounds, schools, training facilities and tournaments. Built using 8 high-brightness P10 outdoor LED display modules, it provides excellent visibility in outdoor conditions while remaining lightweight and portable.

3D Printed PETG Enclosure

The scoreboard enclosure is manufactured using PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), a durable engineering-grade plastic widely used for outdoor and functional components.

Advantages of PETG

• Strong and impact resistant

• Lightweight

• Better heat resistance than PLA

• Good UV resistance for outdoor applications

• Excellent durability

• Resistant to moisture

• Does not rust or corrode

PETG is commonly used for functional products where strength and portability are more important than cosmetic appearance.

Appearance of the Enclosure

Please note that this scoreboard uses a 3D printed enclosure rather than a folded metal enclosure.

Because large parts exceed the printing size of most 3D printers, the enclosure is manufactured in multiple sections which are permanently joined together.

As a result, you may notice:

• Small join lines

• Minor glue marks

• Slight surface blemishes

• Normal 3D printing layer lines

These cosmetic characteristics are normal and do not affect the performance, strength or durability of the scoreboard.

The enclosure is designed to:

• Securely hold the electronics

• Protect the display

• Keep the scoreboard lightweight

• Make transportation easy

Once installed during a game, the focus is on the bright LED display rather than the enclosure itself.

5V 10A Power Supply (Not Included)

Power supplies are not included and must be purchased separately.

This allows users to source suitable power supplies locally and replace them easily if required.

Why are they sold separately?

In countries such as Australia, outdoor sporting facilities can experience:

• Very high UV exposure

• Extreme summer temperatures

If power supplies are left exposed to direct sunlight or excessive heat, they may overheat, soften or fail prematurely.

Recommended Installation

For improved reliability, we recommend:

• Installing the power supply inside a ventilated cardboard or protective enclosure

• Keeping the power supply shaded from direct sunlight

• Preventing water exposure

• Maintaining adequate airflow around the power supply

• Keeping one spare power supply available for uninterrupted operation during important games
