This lead time is required to manufacture, print, and assemble the enclosure to our quality standards. Additionally, we do not keep all components in stock at our Sydney facility. Some parts are imported specifically after an order is placed to ensure you receive the latest and highest-quality components.

Three Ways to Operate the Scoreboard

The scoreboard offers three convenient control methods.

1. Built-in Controller

Physical control buttons are installed directly on the scoreboard for local operation.

2. Wireless Remote Control

The supplied remote control allows the scorer to update the scoreboard from anywhere around the ground.

Features include:

• Physical push-button controls

• Wireless operating range of up to 500 metres in an open cricket ground

• Allows the scorer to operate the scoreboard while maintaining a clear view of the match

Remote Control Power Options

The remote control can be powered by:

• A standard 5V USB power bank, or

• A 9V battery (rechargeable or non-rechargeable)

3. WiFi Web Browser Control

The scoreboard creates its own WiFi network.

Simply:

• Connect your phone, tablet, or computer to the scoreboard's WiFi

• Open the web-based control interface in your browser

3D Printed PETG Enclosure

The enclosure is manufactured using PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), a durable engineering-grade plastic widely used for functional outdoor products.

• Good UV resistance compared with many common plastics

• Better heat resistance than PLA

• Excellent durability for portable equipment

• Does not rust or corrode

Important Information About the Enclosure

The enclosure is designed to provide strength and portability rather than a cosmetic showroom finish.

Because of the size limitations of 3D printing:

• Larger enclosure sections are printed separately

• Individual sections are permanently joined together

• Small glue marks, joint lines, layer lines, or minor cosmetic blemishes may be visible

These are normal characteristics of large-format 3D printed products and do not affect the operation or durability of the scoreboard.

Once installed, the focus is on the clear LED score display rather than the appearance of the enclosure.

5V 8A Power Supply (Not Included)

Power supplies are NOT included and must be purchased separately by the customer.

This allows customers to source replacements locally whenever required.

Why are power supplies not supplied?

In countries such as Australia, outdoor sporting equipment is often exposed to:

• Extremely high temperatures

• Strong sunlight

• High UV levels

If standard power supplies are left in direct sunlight, they may overheat or get damaged.

Recommended Installation

For maximum reliability, we recommend:

• Installing the power supply inside a cardboard or weather-protected enclosure to minimise direct heat exposure

• Keeping the power supply out of direct sunlight whenever possible

• Keeping one spare power supply available as a backup for uninterrupted operation
