This lead time is required to manufacture, print, and assemble the enclosure to our quality standards. Additionally, we do not keep all components in stock at our Sydney facility. This portable ULTRA BIRGHT Digital Cricket Scoreboard is designed for community cricket clubs, schools, community grounds, and tournaments. Built using four high-brightness P10 outdoor LED dot matrix displays, it provides clear, easy-to-read scoring information from long distances while remaining lightweight and portable.

The scoreboard displays the four key scoring elements of a cricket match:

• Total Runs

• Wickets

• Overs

• Target

Each section uses a different LED colour, making the information easy to distinguish during play.

Three Ways to Control the Scoreboard

The scoreboard can be operated using any of the following methods:

1. Built-in Physical Controller

Controls installed directly on the scoreboard allow quick operation without requiring any additional equipment.

Note: There are no physical buttons for setting the Target score on the built-in controller.

Since target scores are typically well over 100 runs, increasing the value one button press at a time would be impractical. The Target score is instead configured using either the remote control or the WiFi web interface.

2. Wireless Remote Control

Operate the scoreboard comfortably from anywhere on the cricket ground.

Features:

• Physical control buttons

• Up to 500 metres operating range (open cricket ground)

• Allows the scorer to update the scoreboard from a convenient viewing position

• Uses the same controller hardware that also supports WiFi operation

The remote control can be powered by:

• A standard 5V USB power bank, or

• One 9V battery (rechargeable or non-rechargeable)

Note: Like the built-in controller, the remote control does not include buttons for setting the Target score.

3. WiFi Browser-Based Control

The scoreboard creates its own WiFi network.

Simply:

1. Connect your phone, tablet or computer to the scoreboard's WiFi.

2. Open the browser-based control interface.

3. Operate the scoreboard directly from your web browser.

Using the web interface, users can:

Enclosure

The scoreboard is housed in a custom 3D printed PETG enclosure.

About the enclosure

The enclosure is designed for strength, portability and practicality rather than cosmetic perfection.

Because of the size limitations of 3D printers, the enclosure is manufactured in multiple sections and permanently assembled using adhesive.

As a result, you may notice:

• Small glue marks

• Minor surface blemishes

• Visible joining lines

• Typical layer lines associated with 3D printing

These cosmetic imperfections are completely normal and do not affect the strength or functionality of the scoreboard.

Once installed, the primary focus is the clearly visible scores—not the appearance of the enclosure. The enclosure securely protects the electronics while keeping the scoreboard lightweight and easy to carry.

About PETG Material

The enclosure is printed using PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), a popular engineering-grade material widely used for outdoor and functional applications.

Things to Keep in Mind

Like all plastics, PETG can soften if exposed to extremely high temperatures for extended periods. To maximise its lifespan:

• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat.

• Store the scoreboard in a shaded location when not in use.

• Do not leave it inside a closed vehicle for extended periods during very hot weather.

• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the enclosure during transport.

5V 6A Power Supply (Not Included)

Power supplies are not included with the scoreboard.

Customers must purchase suitable power supplies separately.

This is intentional because environmental conditions vary significantly between countries.

In regions such as Australia, where summer temperatures and UV exposure can be extremely high, externally mounted power supplies can overheat or become damaged if exposed directly to the sun.

Recommendations

• Install the power supply inside a protective paper or cardboard enclosure to minimize direct heat exposure.

• Position the power supply in a shaded location whenever possible.

• Keep one spare power supply available for uninterrupted operation during matches.
